The inaugural Bluestar Awards, recognizing the best of Australian Blues, was held on May 17.  Held in conjunction with the Blues on Broadbeach Festival in Australia, this was the first time the Australian fans and industry representatives had a chance to vote on local and international content  in an awards format.
